The Ocean House Restaurant

This is not a family friendly place. It's only busy because it is so tiny. A huge wait in off season and early dinning with a kid?? Asked us if we wanted to sit at a high top bar, with a 4 year old. Hostess way way over dressed even for an upscale place by the beach where you have lots tourists. It's just silly. Btw, you have to let them park you car, why because there's no parking. I only gave them the third star because of the view.

Very good selection and each dish was well prepared. The food was tasty and we were impressed with the variety of flavors. Service was exquisite. Minimal on site parking but they do offer free valet parking. Overall this is a very solid experience and did not disappoint.

Excellent staff, amazing experience. I made a reservation for my parents, a special date night, and the staff were incredible. They took great care of my parents, sat them near a window and presented them with a handwritten card that they wrote for me. Really above and beyond.

Great food and drinks. Classic and creative offerings. If it's very crowded as usual and you want a beach side view table for two, go into the bar/lounge. Restaurant area only has tables for four or more along the beach windows. You'll literally be right next to those restaurant tables along the same row of windows but in the bar-lounge area at your own smaller table for two. Excellent service as well. We lucked out visiting just before the busy season.

First time here was tonight and, honestly, I have no idea what these one-star reviews are talking about. Food was incredible! The roasted lobster was by far some of the best lobster I’ve ever had. And the service was great. Our server had so much personality and was very attentive to both of the 5-tops in our party. We were a walk-in party of 10 on a night they were completely booked, and they STILL accommodated us. Understandably, things can go wrong and somebody’s experience may be affected. But I wouldn’t come back to the Cape without returning here for dinner. It was that good!
