We try every place at least once. We used to live in New York City and always loved trying new places to see what’s coming as well as the established restaurants hotels and destinations. Our reviews are short but hopefully help the business and customers who are thinking of trying a place out. Rarely do we give 5 stars as that takes a lot and should be respected as the best of the best!

Unbelievably good salmon and surf and turf. Service was great. Delicious cookies and cream for dessert. Would 100% recommend and go again.

Based on the reviews I expected Cape Sea to be top notch. Don’t get me wrong- it was good, but I expected GREAT! We had reservations but were asked to hang out at the bar for about 15 minutes before being seated. The restaurant was busy but had a few open tables. After 10 minutes someone took our bar order. After we were seated our waiter explained the specials and took our order. Our table-side service was very good! I ordered the whole lobster. It was good, but a little to simply seasoned for my liking. It was served topped with asparagus and diced potatoes, which was also a bit odd to me. The sauce was bland. My mom had the swordfish and said it was flavorful but not exceptional. I love an old/historic restaurant but this one is feeling a bit tired, and in need of some updating.

The Cape Sea Grille is an upscale spot that has yet to disappoint. This is not your typical lobster and chowder joint that caters to the masses (Not that I don't also love those spots too). But if you are looking for fresh local seafood along with other dishes prepared with flair and a truly professional staff that is super attentive please put this on your must-try list. The gazpacho appetizer is really a great way to start but remember to save room for dessert as well. Cape Sea Grille is easily located on beautiful Sea Street right off Main Street (Route 28) and has their own parking lot. If you have time before or after dinner, take a walk to the Town beach located at the end of Sea St.

Wonderful, out of the way. We sat on the enclosed porch which gave us a view of the water. Staff was outstanding. Food was very good and portions were just right. It was a Saturday night and was very busy which made the volume a bit elevated. Everyone in our party of 6 had a delicious meal.
