Captain Parker's Pub

Was our 1st visit, but definitely not our last! A new favorite when we are in town!
Whitney, our server, was amazing. She made sure our meal was served at exactly the right time & according to our specifications. She checked on us to make sure everything was okay during the meal & kept our table clean throughout.
Since it was such a nice night, we ate outside on the patio & that made the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was peaceful, the music was not too loud, the outside grills were lit at dusk (which was really nice) & it just made everything about this trip better.
I highly recommend trying Captain Parker's Pub & especially tasting a bowl of the delicious clam chowder! It is fantastic & full of clams!! Eat it 1st...for it's very filling! The fried calamari & the potato skins were delicious as well. We really enjoyed everything. ????❤

Voted the best chowder year after year!
The food is excellent and the service is great. Sit at the bar, dining room or on the deck it is always a favorite spot for the locals and travelers alike.
If your on the Cape stop by Captain Parker's Pub for a cold one and great food.

Delicious seafood . Delicious clam chowder. Accommodating to families with children. We had a waiter who was very patient and kind. Even offered beer samples even tho he was so busy. Not my first time here, definitely won't be my last.

This is a local favorite surf & turf restaurant that has a limited vegetarian selection. I got the vegetarian lasagna (pictured) that was delicious! They also offer a vegetarian burger and stir fry. The drink selection is good and there is a nice bar area. It has a local vibe, with police patches from all over covering the walls.

I will give it five stars because the food was AWESOME and they can't control my one complaint. Get there early. Wait time was 45 minutes for a party of five and overheard parties of two being told 40+ minutes. No call ahead seating, understandably. It was still worth the wait! Clam Chowder was phenomenal! Just phenomenal! We ordered a to go bowl of chowder and a salad from the bar to tide us over until dinner and ate that in the waiting area. It was so good that our eight your old son ordered a bowl for dinner after we were seated. Husband got the bacon scallops dinner and really liked it. Calamari was really good. I don't normally like crab cakes, I like the way I make them, but most restaurants put too many onions in them, not at this place. The crab cakes (crabby patties) probably had onions, but I couldn't taste them at all. We were very pleased with the crabby patties. Shrimp cocktail was good. There were 10 jumbo shrimp and a good size, but we usually prefer tiger shrimp for shrimp cocktail, but they delivered what the menu said, 10 jumbo shrimp. It was a great dinner and we walked away very full with leftovers :-)
