“Delighted to stumble on this excellent and authentic Mexican restaurant somewhat incongruously tucked into a victorian mansion on 6A. The portions were generous and very reasonably priced. The seafood paella was the best Ive had in a long time—see the pic. We also had fajitas and a diablo salad and all were delicious. Plus the portions were large enough to enjoy leftovers the next day. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at Leonesse - an Italian Kitchen and Bar, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The convenience of valet parking made our visit even more enjoyable. The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the homemade Italian fare. Every dish was artfully prepared and showcased the chef's skill and passion for culinary excellence. The attention to detail was evident in every bite. One standout dish was the Berkshire Pork Tomahawk Chop "Tagliata" that my son ordered. Priced at $44, it was a true indulgence. The pork was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The accompaniments of creamy polenta, fennel pollen, baby fennel, and pork jus elevated the dish to another level. As for my own choice, I opted for the Cruschi Pepper Crusted Ahi Tuna priced at $36. The presentation alone was impressive, with the tuna beautifully crusted with the flavorful pepper. The combination of sweet potato, Tuscan kale, cilantro aioli, and lime gastrique created a harmonious blend of flavors that perfectly complemented the freshness of the tuna. Overall, Leonesse exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was inviting, the staff was attentive, and the cuisine was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable Italian dining experience.”

“Spur of the moment visit. Wow, friendly server (Ashley). Started with a bowl of chili 🌶️, chunks of delicious meats, beans and perfect spice level for a restaurant. The salad was above average and eye appealing, and tasty. I was going to order chicken parmesan, but the appetizers filled my tummy. Macaroni and cheese with chicken was also ordered. “This new restaurant in the new Aiden hotel is very nice. The bar tender/waitress was awesome. She offered plenty of suggestions and they were very flexible with options. We ended up ordering a seafood plate and fish tacos. The seafood was good, the chorizo was very good. The fish tacos were a disappointment, the fish was rubbery. The clam chowder was quite good. The service rather than the food was really what made the experience good.”

Met an awesome group in the booth next to us and a lovely lady who quietly introduced an incredibly nice gentlemen as the original owner or one of the original owners. How cool is that! I hope I'm as fun as that group when I'm older (not too far off :-) from that). The guy holding the lobster kindly came out and helped us crack it and quite frankly, he did all the work, thankfully! What a great restaurant with a fantastic staff and such nice people all the way around. This just made our trip even better.”

Smaller selection and no extended menu like the bigger places but it has the benefit of fast and easy in and out with two entrances on two sides of the corner at the red light.
