The Optimist Café

The eggs were a tad greasy but tasty ???? My latte wasn't didn't come with any fancy design on top. The coffee used for the latte wasn't very strong. I usually enjoy more robust taste for a latte.

Old Cape Cod ambiance with comfortable dining rooms as well as a secluded patio for relaxing in the balmy weather. The cuisine is delicious along with high tea or mimosas if you want - - not to mention the tasty deserts. Try their brunch or all day breakfasts if you like. This is a must try place on the Cape.

Elegant without being pretentious, the Optimist Cafe is a great choice for a special event or a simple trip out to breakfast alike. You can enjoy a fancy afternoon tea here, served with scones, or just grab a burger or espresso. I found the Ruben to be outstanding!

Nice variety and good tasting food. Friendly staff. Discovered this place about 3 years ago and have been coming back ever since. While the food is delightful, the coffee could be better. However, I go for the food, and I have not been dissappointed once.

We had a wonderful breakfast at this eclectic spot. The food was wonderfully prepared. The menu was varied and interesting. The staff is very engaging and funny. All in all, a great place to start your day on the Cape!
