“Prices are reasonable. Food is good. Sit upstairs for an entertaining view of the teeming masses of Vineyard travelers at the Steamship Authority. Word is Carly Simon can occasionally be spotted at the Leeside. You'll be all set if you are into Bud Lite. For a decent drink, go across the street to the Landfall.”

“Great new live music venue on Rt 28 in Yarmouth. Professional sound. The act we saw, Shawn Holt and the Teardrops was of national caliber. A few minor bugs with service, but no big deal. Thrilled to have this place available! We are going back again this Saturday to see Kat Wright.”

“Great restaurant to go to if you have a dog! Server was very nice, brought our dog a water bowl right away. Plenty of space to sit and not feel cramped. Dog had plenty of space to sit or lay down. As for the food, it was very good! Delicious seafood and huge portions!! Definitely worth checking out! Drinks were great and well priced! Mango daiquiri was great.”

“The location is ideal, and the rooms are comfortable, though some have an obstructed view. The deck out back is right on the beach but there are only about half a dozen rooms facing the bay, and overlooking the deck and pool. The pool is generally free, even for people who aren't hotel guests, as they make their money at the poolside bar. Have one of their drink specials and it comes in a small "beach bucket" with a loop handle and the Crown and Anchor logo printed on it. It's a generous portion and typically delicious and very potent, so if you're planning to drive or bike after pool time, perhaps avoid the drink special, and have a water instead. The place also has a restaurant, piano bar, and a small theater where there are some great drag queens performing. Comedians like Miss Richfield are pros and will have you falling over laughing. The restaurant isn't cheap, but it's good and has a nice view of commercial street, and here's a tip: if you're seeing a show there and you eat at their restaurant, tell your waiter. Not only will they get you to the show on time, they will actually escort you to the best seats in the house just before they open the doors to the other ticket holders. Nice.”

“Great chili! The atmosphere was chill and the food was exceptional to match. The only downside ( to me) at this place was there is no phone service in the restaurant. Even being so busy our food was delivered in a reasonable time. This is a great little hidden gem!”

“Fantastic!! I made the mistake of making reservations at the wrong “Del Mar”. The Del Mar in Chatham we’re still able to seat us on a busy Thursday night. They had a live jazz band playing which made for a lovely ambiance. We tried the lobster tostada, the fried artichoke hearts with goat cheese and both of us had fish entrees. The food was exceptional. I felt the pricing was on par for the area and the quality of the food/presentation etc. Will definitely go back.”

“Cute little restaurant, the owner is a very friendly Greek guy. He makes some amazing pizza by the way, unbeatable in my opinion. Fairly affordable at that. Not always the fastest service, but definitely worth the wait. I also suggest trying to have a little talk with the owner if possible, he is a very interesting person to talk to.”

“Fun atmosphere, delicious “small plates” food with diverse menu offerings. Inconsistent cocktails (all were good, they were just mixed very differently from one drink to the next). We enjoyed “Drag Karaoke” with our host, Sandy Dunes. Highly recommend emBargo for a night out in Hyannis!”

“A group of friends and I have been coming to this place since sometime in April for Music Bingo. Music Bingo was great, the bartender Brad was amazing, but we've unfortunately had bad experiences with the food and waitress two of the last few times we've visited. The first time, she was snippy with my friend who asked if the Caesar dressing had garlic (she's pregnant and garlic makes her stomach upset), and she forgot to bring water for one of our party after being asked twice. The salad was brought out without dressing after Ranch had been requested instead, and the salad was bitter and the lettuce was yellow. We thought this was a one-off and maybe the waitress had a rough day, so we moved on. Last night, we went in for the final night of music bingo. My friend made brownies and brought them in as one of other groups was permitted to bring in a birthday cake before and shared, and we wanted to repay the favor. The same waitress as the other week told us we couldn't have the food and that we couldn't simply put it away behind the table, we had to take it out to the car. This was annoying but not a huge deal as it appears it's up to restaurant discretion as to whether or not outside food will be brought in, but the inconsistency was frustrating. My friend took the food out amidst snide comments from the waitress about the point of being there being to order food (no, we just liked music bingo, and we had always ordered food or drinks in the past anyway). She then went to take our orders and asked our pregnant friend what she wanted. Seeing as she's pregnant, she wasn't going to order alcohol, but when she asked for water and a slice of lemon, the waitress responded very abruptly by saying "You HAVE to order SOMETHING to drink that you pay for." After we protested she caved in and blamed the management for her response. Management or not, her attitude didn't leave any great feelings. There's no reason someone shouldn't be given a simple glass of water if that's what they want. I don't know what our table did to piss anyone off, seeing as we've been nothing but friendly before and have always ordered something, but being treated like this was entirely unnecessary. We will not be returning now that music bingo is over; we may have had our service been kinder, but there's no point in giving somewhere our money that treats us like this. The ONLY reason I'm giving three stars, rather than two stars, is because Brad was amazing, made great drinks, and was always sweet to our group.”

“Delicious pizza, everyone enjoyed their meals. Family friendly, indoor or outdoor seating. Right down the street from mini golf and ice cream stand. Wait staff very friendly. Will definitely go back when I’m in the area.”

“What a delightful throwback! Excellent service, old nautical decor and outstanding food. Lunch for us on keto diet: flavorful swordfish on a lovely salad. Large portion and not expensive. Took some home for another meal. Yum.”

“Red’s Restaurant & Lounge can be difficult to find if you’re not accessing the restaurant from the beach. Although some reviews on here are negative, we had a good lunch experience at Red’s. While the service may not be the best, the food and drinks were good and we enjoyed the view with our lunch. Overall we had a great experience at Red’s and enjoyed their food.”
