Old Mill

Looking for traditional cuisine, cooked to perfection and accompanied by good service? Then the Old Mill fits the bill exceptionally well. We had an excellent meal, including cocktails and dessert right through to coffee.
Why not five stars? I really would rate it 4.5 stars, with some reservations concerning the originally of the dishes. The trout could have benefited from some diversity of texture, like fried fish skin to add a bit of crunch. Again, everything was excellent, just a bit predictable. The waiting staff could be a bit more personable, although with a clientele over 60 they reflect the overall sober mood.
Recommended for an upscale calm dinner with family or friends.

Our favorite restaurant in the Berkshires. The staff makes us feel like old and friends . I highly recommend the panko crusted trout and the lamb chops. They have wonderful home made deserts but their profiteroles are the best between here and Paris. Best thing about The Old Mill is the host Terry Moore . He is warm, friendly, and always makes sure everything is perfect for his diners.
A must for visitors to the berkshires.

Berkshire County dining at its best; decades of excellent local and regional foods; lovely, attentive service; cmfortable settings at bar room and main dining room decorated seasonally with a bit of whimsy. Recommended!

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Always a good meal; and great service. If you are a large party; they will accept reservations. Otherwise, they don't take reservations. You can also get the menu at the bar which is a good option. The desserts are particularly great. Love the lemon meringue sundae!
