Katama Kitchen serves delicious food at the scenic Katama Airfield. For dinner I had a wonderful clam chowder and then an excellent risotto with peas, artichokes and mushrooms. The apple pie and ice cream dessert was out of this world. Everything was great and tasted homemade. The service is so kind and attentive. On a previous lunch visit I had a really tasty lobster roll. This restaurant is so good, make sure you try it!
Excellent dinner, a top clam chowder, delicious honey salad, perfectly cooked steaks, and flavorful vegan entree option (julienne vegetables were thoughtfully flavorful!). And the warm pie and tiramisu capped it off nicely. The service was kind and attentive. We will go back many more times this summer. We sat outdoors as a party of 8, we called ahead for reservations.
Love Katama Kitchen! I've had two breakfasts here and one lunch with different groups of people. Everyone was very happy with the food, service, and ambience. Breakfast was great! If you like artichokes try the Sardou it was unbelievable! Coffee and waters were always topped off which is nice because I know it is hard to find help on the island. Lunch was great, I had the Cuban and a side salad. It was the perfect amount of food and was very tasty. I think that the new ownership and staff have been doing an amazing job! Congrats to everyone for their hard work it shows! I look forward to many great meals here.
I wish I was a picture person because I would love to share some pictures of the food. Next time I'll take some.
Also I heard Dinner is starting soon and excited to try it out.
Katama Kitchen is the new restaurant at the Katama Airfield. They serve breakfast and lunch and will soon be adding dinner. We were there for lunch and had large and delicious sandwiches with fries. Watch the Red Baron and the other planes take off and land as you enjoy their amazing food. We are going back tomorrow for breakfast!
