The Terrace | Charlotte Inn

This is a lovely restaurant with wonderful staff and a system of serving (no teamwork) that's just terrible. After 2 hours we couldn't get coffee and a check which mattered as we were on the last ferry. Food, by the way, is terrific. They can fix this as there is more than enough staff and some simply stand around as though this is a union shop.....which surely it's not. I wouldn't return

Excellence in all areas. Cocktails in their lounge were amazing and a very nice touch before dinner. Wine list is approachable but sophisticated. The 1890's Edwardian aesthetic is fitting. The best duck and split chicken I have ever had. Top notch will return.

We had an amazing culinary experience at the Terrace this past weekend. Chef Michael Rottman brings a beautiful artistic touch to the menu. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had (Moo in Boston is now a 2nd best for me) and the chicken was equally excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive and we enjoyed our meal in the tranquil setting. It reminded me of the famous Kloof Street House in Cape Town, South Africa with its garden and French/British touches. A gem of a place and we can’t wait to come back again!

Located in Edgartown on a quiet sidestreet. We usually found a parking spot nearby. The Inn is a very short walk to everything Edgartown has to offer. The Inn is so beautiful and interesting both inside and out. The interior is very elegant. The attention to detail is amazing. We stayed in room 10. I highly recommend it as long as you don't mind a queen size bed. We loved the room. They think of everything from a great shower head, to Bulgari toiletries, to lots of hooks to hang things in the bathroom and so much more. The restaurant was excellent. We had my wife's birthday dinner there and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone that works there is very nice. Thank you Charlotte Inn for a great stay.
