We went here for a family lunch on a late summer Monday. The food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed the water view and relaxed atmosphere. The service was top notch! Our server, Oscar, was friendly, attentive, and truly added to the enjoyment of our day.

This place has become a tradition for us when we go to the vineyard. In fact, I associate Martha's Vineyard with the Seafood Shanty. The menu has a wide variety. There is a rooftop deck which is a dining option. There is a great view over the harbor from the deck. The restaurant is in a great location in downtown Edgartown.

Service was quick and there was great outdoor seating. Our server was super friendly and the manager even stopped by to see how we were doing.

We got the Lobster Dip and some sushi, both of which were amazing. My brother said that the fries were very good too.

Very good food. The view was wonderful. I enjoyed the fish tacos. The people with me enjoyed the lobster roll. It was recommended by our bus tour director

I had the raw seafood platter. The oysters and clams where fresh, but not totally clean. The shrimp was a bit overcook, but great lobster tail.

The most disappointing part was the sauces : industrial cocktail sauce and mayonnaise with citrus. A classic mignonette (red wine vinegar, black pepper and shallots) would have been appropriate for a 70$ platter, or any home made sauce for that matter.

Great view. I would probably go back for a drink and not the raw bar.
