Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta

We always come every summer to Jimmy seas. This year rather than wait we dat at the bar. We split a meal as the portions are so generous. Real reason why I'm writing is to give the bartender, Melissa , a 5 ++ star. She made our night.

My wife spotted this place when we were in line for Back Door Doughnuts earlier in our week on the Island and I said "Lets go there our last night". We did and I was very impressed with the food and service. The best part is we brought a powered cooler with us so the left overs came with us back to Michigan which we enjoyed the night we got home.

Big portions, awesome scallops, mostly friendly staff. I had a nice little meal and ordered everything.

Food was alright but the service was very poor. A half hour wait turned into an hour and a half and once we were seated, we were rushed through ordering. Once our food was brought out, we didn't see the server again until she brought the check. The food was fine but not amazing Italian. Prices are a bit over the top for the atmosphere and quality. Portions are ridiculously huge. I like large portions but this was a bit much. I ordered the carbonara and it was spicy from pepper just floating in a very thin cream sauce.

Large portions, good service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Be prepared to take home leftovers. Some dishes were more flavorful than others. Overall a decent meal, but just average Italian.
