Surprisingly good restaurant! And indeed an Italian one (which is a problem in USA)

Great Italian restaurant. Always good food, good service, and good for kids. Awesome bread.

Great family restaurant! I’ve been going here since I was little. Always quality food, good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Unfortunately they’ve gone down hill a little. The promos they send out got better but the prices also went up and the quality went down. It took 30 minutes for us to get a meal size salad, pasta dish and side of meatballs last night. We sent the salad back because dressing was supposed to be in the side but 25 minutes later we had to ask them to forget about it and give us the check. When our waiter asked the cook to remake the salad he loudly said “are you serious man!? What’s up with this” making us uncomfortable with the situation. We got a piece of cake to go but it was dry and the pasta portion was tiny for $15 and included burnt sausage. It was still decent overall and the roles can’t be beat. I really hope they improve

First time dining here after living in Andover for almost a year. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised.

Before going here, I saw online that Bertucci's (the corporation) had declared chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and despite having just 58 locations, owed $119 million to suppliers and lenders. So, yeah, each location was, on average, about two million dollars in debt. For a tiny restaurant on main street, this was surprising to me, and I thought it would bode poorly for their service.

I ended up coming in because I received a coupon in the mail (no idea how they got my address) offering me fifteen dollars off my purchase of 35 dollars or more. I realized that if I spent exactly 35 dollars, this would come out to an impressive 42% discount. But that percentage discount would go down the more I ordered, so I was keen on the bill being as close to 35 dollars as possible.

I bring my date to the restaurant, and I was impressed by the interior. You have a view of the brick oven and the people preparing your food -- it was nice and transparent. We both order pizzas, she also orders a drink. While we're waiting, the waiter brings out bread with an awesome olive oil dipping blend, and I saw the bread come out of an oven about ten minutes before we were served. For a chain, they're definitely putting the effort in to make good food. This isn't Olive Garden.

Our pizzas come out and they look awesome, with some nice charring around the edge, the crust slightly misshapen (meaning it was indeed handmade). My date ordered one with prosciutto and fig, which was one of the best tasting pizzas I've ever had, very delicate and expertly cooked, also looked amazing. Impressive it was as cheap as it was. I received the wrong pizza, though. But the waiter realized this mistake before I could comment on it, and brought me out the correct pizza without me having to ask. So I got a free pizza, which ironically I ended up liking more than the one I had actually ordered.

At this point, our bill was only 26 dollars, so I ordered a ten dollar dessert (tiramisu) which was among the best I've ever had. The bill came out to 36 dollars, with an additional free pizza, so 21 dollars after the coupon, so after splitting the check, about 11 dollars (not including tip) for a meal with appetizer, drink, free pizza, and dessert. It's funny, because if I hadn't had the coupon, we would have paid 26 dollars as our bill, but knowing I had this coupon, I ordered a new item, but this actually made our bill less than it would have been if I hadn't ordered more food, because the coupon kicked in. So the coupon pretty much led to them giving me more food for less money.

This is a great place, I recommend it. It's easy to see why they're going bankrupt, this meal should easily have cost me over 25 dollars. They're giving out free appetizers and pizzas left and right with 42% discount coupons. I'll definitely be back.
