Got rid of food kitchen but added no games kids unhappy

This was our first trip to Cape Ann Lanes; we were looking for something fun to do on our vacation in Rockport. I called to inquire about renting a lane with bumpers for an hour and spoke to Steven. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised at how clean and kid-friendly Cape Ann Lanes were. It was the first time bowling for both of my children and we had so much fun! Steven let us choose our lane and explained everything to us. He even came over a few minutes later to let us know that while the kitchen was not open at that time, there were snacks and beverages available for purchase if we wanted anything. He was so polite, friendly and helpful! The scoring system was so easy to use, the shoes we rented were comfortable and the place was very clean. Best of all it was a wonderful experience for our children. We have decided to make bowling at Cape Ann Lanes a new family tradition for our Rockport vacation every year!

Love the free bowling for kids summer program! Friendly staff, clean facility, and a good variety of snacks and drinks.

This is one of the best bowling alleys I've been to! The computer system works great. The ball return is fast. The small arcade area is fun, especially the candy crane. There are great snacks at the snack bar, although we've yet to try the pizza. And the beer and wine is absolutely necessary, considering that when we go, it's with our 3 kids, ages 6, 4, and 3!
