American BBQ

I very much enjoy good southern BBQ, and we don't have a lot of that in New York. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this BBQ joint, and happily eat here again!

Great food... ❤️ doing take-out! If you’re in the mood for barbeque, it’s the best! Also was at a corporate outing at Crane’s Beach and American Barbeque was great...food and service!

We had American BBQ cater a recent graduation party - the food was fantastic as always, and stayed warm through our entire four-hour event. The portions are generous, they do all the set up, and provide everything you need - dishes, wet-naps, etc. Our guests raved about the food. Will definitely use them again.

Heard a lot of good reports of this place so decided to try it out. Place is clean and quaint. We were doing a late lunch/early dinner, so got there around 3pm and the place was practically empty, but the person who helped us (probably the owner?) was very friendly and helpful.
I got a steak bomb sandwich, made with brisket, and it was very good, maybe just half-star behind the same item I get at our other area favorite place. Wife got a BBQ chicken sandwich and was also very happy with her food. Service was reasonably fast, especially considering that they were in their mid-afternoon lull. All in all, very good, I'd go back again and try more of their menu. I'm a tough grader, I don't like to give 5 stars every time, but if I could I'd maybe give this place a 4 and a half!

Great food at a great price. Pretty much everything is good, but the collard greens are over the top. Owners are a class act.
