Spitfire Tacos

I've grown up & lived in Salem for most of my life, so I've seen a lot of downtown restaurants come and go. Ordered here on a whim after i voted nearby & was so IMPRESSED!! The fish tacos were amazing & fresh. The pork was seasoned so well and simply ??? The prices were affordable, each tacos were $4-5, and the portions were generous with each one. This place is a MUST if you're ever in downtown Salem. Just know it's unlikely you'll find close street parking (on a main road) during lunch times so just park in the Wendy's lot and walk up.

I'm actually so mad, because I am from out of town and this place has what might be a good the best Tacos I have had in a long time. Pork and Fish are definitely the way to go, even if you are normally not a fan of of either. I might have to go back at least once more before I leave town, or I am going to dream about them for months.

So good, I'm addicted. Don't be deterred by the higher prices, because the portion sizes are enormous. Each taco is equivalent to 2 more traditionally-sized tacos and 3 or 4 street style-sized. The specials are always amazing. The meats are always cooked perfectly and have so much flavor. The homemade tortillas are fantastic. Everything is incredible. I can't recommend this place enough!

We each had the fish and pork tacos which were amazing. Being taco aficionados, we’ve had plenty of mediocre tacos but not from this place. The flavors were delicious and the meat was cooked to perfection. I also liked how fresh the tacos were. This place deserves five stars hands down.

This place is SO good. The tacos are a very decent size - I like the chicken and fish tacos the best! But if there's anything from the menu that I can recommend - CHOCO TACOS. Choco. Tacos. They make them in house and they are gigantic and delicious and everything you've never gotten from the choco tacos you'd get off of the ice cream truck. Such a cute idea for a taco restaurant and they don't disappoint. We've been back to this place several times since discovering it.
