Hungry Traveler

We had stopped at the Hungry Traveler years ago and decided we would go there while we were in the area. The food was good but was disappointed when we were given our bill. I was charged $3 more for the clam plate I ordered. The price on the menu was $24.99 with no indication of any change nor did our waiter let me know of any increase. She told me after talking with the manager and I questioned her when I received the bill that there was a sign by the door. They would not give me the menu price. When we walked out I saw their hand written sign. When that was written who knows. I would think they should have changed the menu to reflect any changes. Disappointed!!

Wonderful friendly staff. We loved our waitress Michelle P! & the food was delicious! Some of the best clam chowder & fried clams I have ever had. We had a great experience here & we'll definitely becoming back the next time were in the area.

Have been going here for over 30 years. Place never disappoints. Donna our waitress has been working here for 42 years, she is outstanding. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Love the food here and especially the salad bar. You can't go wrong with their steaks and seafood dishes. Lobster Pie is my fave. We usually sit in the bar area...bit more cozy compared to the larger dining area. Nothing fancy but always great service...good drinks and decent food!

Food was very good. Service was excellent. The host was very accommodating. Waiter was great. Very friendly. Salad bar had good choices.
Lobster pie all tail meat and yummy.
The restaurant is very casual and could use some updating. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
