Cal's Woodfired Grill and Bar

I keep going back and forth from 3 stars or 4 stars. The food is amazing, like 10/10 filet mignon. My issue with this restaurant is the service. We always have bad waitresses and extremely slow service. We've been there at least 20 times, expect slow service when you go. I love their margaritas. The prices are just right. I'm not sure if we get slower service because we look young or what, but the last time in particular we waited 45 minutes from the time we were done eating to flag the waitress down for the bill. She seriously would not look at us- and we never got asked to get a refill on our drink- which I would have ordered another margarita. After another waitress dropped off our food, our waitress never came to check in again and we were stuck there until we could finally flag her down. I felt like she was purposefully ignoring us to go take care of the tables that had larger groups of people. We finished our meals first, and the table next to us got dessert, coffee, food to go, and the check all set and paid before we could flag her down.

I showed up close to closing. Staff was very nice. Ate at the bar, very good burger, really good draft. Would definitely recommend.

We just happened upon this place on our way to Donut Dip while on our way home from a weekend in MA. What a great surprise! Friendly staff, handsome decor, delicious food. A new place for us to stop just a shirt distance off I-90 (Mass Pike).

This is the second time in the past few weeks that we went to Cal's. The food is excellent, I had the stuffed shrimp and my wife had the pork chop. The main issue I have is the noise level, very difficult ta have a conversation at your table without yelling. The waitress we had the first time was excellent, this past time, not so attentive. Would have given 5 stars had the service been a little more attentive.
