First time even though I've walked and driven by numerous times. Wait staff was attentive and on point. Inside was a conversation piece. Onion soup was yummy and they had a good selection of craft beer on tap.
It was a nice place, not much crowded on a Friday afternoon. We ordered BBQ Brisket Slider, Short rib slider and one I Love BBQ Combo Platter with the choice of Pulled Pork. Everything was delicious thanks to the Jack Daniels BBQ sauce. The waiters were courteous and sweet. Had a overall wonderful afternoon lunch.
Fitzwilly's is a great restaurant to go to if you can't agree on what type of food you'd like. The menu has a wide variety from burgers to sea food to pasta to burritos. All of it is good, although not as good as the restaurants in Northampton that specialize in one of those food categories. I usually get the Wicked Alfredo which is spicy and has chicken, sausage and shrimp, or one of the hamburgers on the menu.
The atmosphere is great. There are memorabilia decorations, high ceilings, skylights that look into an indoor courtyard, loft seating and a bar that always has people at it socializing and watching a game on TV.
Coming from the CT shoreline, it was our first time visiting Northampton, MA. We were initially told it would be a 15-20 minute wait on a busy Saturday night. The manager, Beth, personally greeted us and upon learning it was our first time at Fitzwilly’s, she pulled us from the wait list and proceeded to seat us at the best seats in the house. We enjoyed a table for 2 in front at the window, so we were able to people-watch during our dining experience. We will definitely go back!
Headed here on a Tuesday evening with a friend. Meant to go to toasted Owl but got a little confused and turns out they’re connected, but not the same. Got the Chef Willy’s Nachos which were HUGE. Enough for two of us to share as our main course. Great tunes and cool vibes.
