I got the most delicious salmon curry served inside of a coconut. I would highly recommend that dish. Six of us were very happy with our meals.
Their new menu, grouped by region, is interesting and unusual.
Their online menu has a ton of vegan options, which is fantastic and appreciated! I hope they will clearly label the print menu as to what can/can’t be veganized. That would make in-house ordering easier.
I had the (vegan) Tom Saab soup. Huge luxury to have FOUR veg soups to choose from...in a world of meat broth! ???? It was nicely presented and bracingly sour.
The frozen mango drink was packed with fresh fruit flavor and citrus notes, thanks to orange. The problem was that there were tons of orange seeds in the drink, which compromised the texture and caused my smoothie-loving kid to shun it.
Similarly, the drunken noodles were fairly standard and decent, but had HUGE wads of onions that should’ve been chopped more.
Aside from some texture/food processing issues, it was a good experience and I’ll be back. Very friendly service too.
Extensive vegan menu, extremely delicious and spiced Thai cuisine. The Simply Sunrise pancake is amazingly crisp, and the Tofu Sukiyaki is a great glass noodle dish with deep spices.
Second visit: The vegan Pad Thai was amazing (forgot to order spicy), and the veggie dumplings are perfect.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food at this restaurant. It is the best Thai food that I can think of in the area. I've tried both the crispy duck and the drunken noodles; the flavors and textures were just what I was hoping for.
Best Thai I've had in Boston thus far. Clean, bright ambiance; friendly and prompt service. I'd definitely come back.
