Went here for dinner with my sister during my staycation. We were there for a 6pm reservation and were the only ones there until we were ready to leave about 7:30pm. I think it was because many folks were on vacation and that it was also Restaurant Week. This place is small (I don't think it can fit more than 18-20 people but the food was excellent as was the service (attentive but not overly so); casual atmosphere. They serve dinner only Thursday - Saturday (it does, however, serve as a cafe Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm) and you have a choice between a 3- or 5-course dinner with option for wine pairing. It's not cheap but well worth it. An aperitif, a starter, palate cleansing bites between courses, and a post-dessert non-alcoholic beverage were included in the prix fixes.

This place is absolutely fantastic. We ate here for dinner which was a pre-fixed three course menu. We were able to sit at the bar right next to the chef and watch them prepare delightful dishes. The staff was very friendly and fun to talk to as we waited. Every dish was very detailed with fresh and unique ingredients. Urban Hearth was the complete experience with an intimate at atmosphere, top notch meal and amazing service. Can't wait to be back!

What a lucky find! This place has it all- comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, and most importantly, impeccable food. It was inventive and fun, yet comforting. Each dish was paced correctly, and was complementary to the next. There were new and fun flavors that got you excited for the next bite. Good selection of new and funky (yet delicious) cocktails. Wine pairing was spot on! You definitely get what you pay for here, a good trip to make. Reservations recommended.

Where to start? This is a small, intimate restaurant with amazing farm to table menu. The kitchen is open hearth so you can see meals prepared while enjoying the atmosphere. We were greeted with a complimentary watermelon mint cocktail, then selected our courses from the pre fixe menu. We had wonderful time and the staff are so friendly. I had lunch here on an early fall day and enjoyed the food immensely. The brie and ham sandwich was delicious and the chef asked us what we thought because she was thinking about tweaking the recipe.

Just the best-quality, freshest seasonal and local ingredients thoughtfully planned, expertly prepared and creatively presented. Evening meal was a 3 or 5 course prix-fixe. Though it's right on Mass Ave, it has a special tranquility. The staff takes great pride in the food and the service and it shows.

Meal was interspersed with amuse-bouche treats and wine pairings were offered as well as their own cocktails.

Unforgettable and surprising touches like beet sorbet garnish on a main and house-made marshmallows on a dessert.

Best meal I've had in ages, and a very special evening. Salute to the chef and staff.
