I was really excited to go here once I saw they had breakfast sandwiches, but when I went they were out of eggs. :/ We ordered a couple other things instead but it took a while to come out and one sandwich seemed to be missing some ingredients (it was just turkey and cheese). Staff seems kind but because of this and aforementioned weird hours I’m kinda not sure if they’re really “open” yet? Weird vibe but I have high hopes for this becoming my new breakfast spot so I’ll probably try again some other time.
Got the chicken pesto sandwich and a carrot ginger smoothie (bunny monkey? Or something). Both were great and I will be back.
I should have taken a photo first, sorry, but I wanted to share my lunch experience from Zoe’s Açaí bar and juicery. My carnivores sandwich was a vacation for my mouth! I will be tempted to return every day! The smoothie for dessert Monkey Bunny was also perfect!
I've been looking forward to trying Zoe Acai Bar and it finally opened a few days ago! It seems to still be in soft open mode so the hours seem a bit irregular, but apparently the usual hours are supposed to be 8am-8pm (the last few days I've tried going, it's been closed before 7pm though).
We got the Zoe acai bowl (kiwi, mango, dragonfruit, shredded coconut, goji berries, chia seeds) for ~$12 with tax. The fruits were good, and I enjoyed the chia seeds once they were mixed in with the acai. The bowl overall was very very sweet, almost cloyingly so -- I couldn't eat more than a couple of spoonfuls before I had to eat something savory or drink water to balance it out. I've definitely had better balanced acai bowls before. The acai part tastes very similar to the Costco frozen acai packs for a reference point. I thought it would have been a lot better if the acai part was much less sweet and maybe with more fruit (they were definitely the highlight!).
They sell a lot more than just acai bowls, including sandwiches and smoothies. I'll have to come back and try their other offerings! The price for the acai bowl seemed rather steep for what it was, but it seems like their other prices are more reasonable (eg $7 for a sandwich).
I celebrated my birthday today in this fine place. happy to tell that it was a marvelous evening and the venue was surely the reason for that successful evening. The team contributed in a gorgeous way, the meals were extremely good and my friends were extremely glad. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
