“Great place in North Cambridge! This entire neighborhood seems hidden away but is definitely an up and coming area. The Lexington has a modern chic vibe, and is not one to miss. Highlights include the cocktails, burgers, and fries. As our waitress stated, they are very accommodating with allergies, additions, and substitutions for items on the menu. I would see this as a place to attend in the summer, since they have outdoor and balcony seating. Very excited to have come here with friends for drinks, and hope to attend again soon !”

“This is my third time at A&H and second for brunch. Ambience is classy without being over the top. The food tasted great, but portion sizes at brunch were erratic: some were basically a meal for one, otherwise we’re small plates. I wish our server had advised us of this when ordering, as one of us had to order another plate to have enough food. Also, most bizarrely for a nice lunch place, they don’t have an espresso machine?? So that means no cappuccino, latte etc. The drip coffee was fine, but for a restaurant that actively markets itself for brunch, this is a strange omission.”

“Absolutely AMAZING spot. My bf and I sat at the upstairs bar. Both bars are really nice. First off, you can order food until 11PM so you can actually gradually gnosh on stuff instead of eating all at once before the kitchen closes and then spending a long time drinking afterward. The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE, I can't stress that enough (my favorite was the steak tartar). The bartender was friendly, knowledgeable, and just generally great, and everything behind the bar was good quality liquor and mixers. Can't wait to go again.”

Also, why do restaurants always have to limit their menus to just brunch when it’s 1PM?? I dislike brunch items at lunch time, and out of all items there the burger and fries were the only ones that actually appealed to me.”

“We were looking for another restaurant and on the way spotted Toscano’s. It looks classically charming.and airy and open. The service was so professional with attention to details. The food was beyond fabulous, generous portions and lovely presentation.. The wine selection was amazing. We were visiting from the west coast but we would definitely be regulars if we lived in the area. Can’t wait to go back on our next visit to the Boston area!”

“We tried the hot pot with both the house pork broth and tom yum. The house broth was very mild and imparted almost no flavor when used for cooking. The tom yum with its spicy citrus sour favors was good and we used it for almost everything. Portion size and value was was good. Seafood Supreme for two at $32 had a nice selection including a lobster tail and included an additional 6 large tasty shrimp with assorted fish and seafood. Napa was good and we tried corn as a change up. Seafood dumplings were a nice, inexpensive add on. They added dividers to the tables for small parties and do seat small parties at the same, long table. Having a reservation was key, and service was friendly. They did a good job of explaining the process and recommending cooking times for each item. Fun, interactive and tasty. Kudos to the cook ;) Most significant issue was that they served people at outside tables and used the side door next to our table frequently causing a very strong blast of cold air. Good thing we had hot soup.”

“Reservation: we were just two, so we were able to walk in and were seated outside. There was no table available inside the restaurant. It was super busy. I recommend you to reserve a place before you go especially when you are more than 2. Parking: Street side parking available through parking meters. Ambience: The place has a beautiful ambience. Its a fine dine restaurant and you will find everyone nicely dressed. Food: we tried their lamb and chicken and they were super delicious. The food is expensive with small portions. With the price they charge I feel, they can increase the portion. Cost: With two entrées you can expect to spend anywhere between $60 to $100 and that's expensive. Overall: Good experience. I am sure there are other restaurants which provide more value at the same price.”

“Ordered online for pickup and couldn't eat inside the restaurant because of covid so this may be biased. Got the tofu taco and the red chili Verde tofu burrito. I think the burrito was pretty good and as you'd expect. I like having tofu as an option and I think that tasted really good. I think if I ate inside and had hot sauce, it would have tasted a lot better. Asked for hot sauce inside, but it tasted a bit bland... Would be an easy fix if there was more hot sauce inside the burrito The taco was pretty soggy despite picking it up almost immediately. It was hard to eat and the paper it was wrapped in also got soggy and made it hard to pickup. I'd give this another shot with indoor seating after”

“This is the first time that we had a meal in this restaurant. However, we Do NOT feel welcome when we got there. We do not have reservation at lunchtime. Then the hostess asked us for providing personal contact so that she can assign the table for us in the system. It is a kind of weird. Because some restaurants ask for it for their marketing purpose. After inputting the contact information, she said there was no table available for 2. And she suggested us to seat in the Bar. Definitely, it won't work for us eating at the Bar with others. Actually, we found that there were 3 long tables near the window available. I told her we prefer to seat there. She refused, saying the long table is for 7 people, though there were no reservation for the long table at lunchtime. She then recommended us to seat at a high chair table next to the Bar. It won't fit us either. Finally, she was reluctant to assign one of the long table to us. Except that, I would say it is a very clean, high-end authentic Chinese restaurant. The food is excellent, staff is very attentive and professional.”
