Delicious and great with dietary restrictions, at least gluten free and dairy free. I love that I can get safe rolls and french fries, although there was temporary confusion about whether my clam strips had been soaked in buttermilk before the gluten free breading. They were thorough and cautious and ultimately the strips were safe. They do have a dedicated gluten free fryer but it has cross contamination with dairy, so be sure to check if that's important to you. The service was thoughtful and pretty efficient.

A must go place for lobster and seafood.
Reservation required or otherwise, it is gonna be a long wait or u can consider hopping in the bar where u can get same full menu but with a different ambience.

Crab cake and cheery stones are must have for me. If u have small appetit, calm chowder can fill your stomach pretty easily, so consider when u order it but it is a nice one.

The servers at the bar are awesome. They can remember orders and follow up closely.
Great place overall and should go if u are happened to be in Boston area.

Amazing seafood. I recommend the swordfish if you prefer milder fish. This is a bit pricey and service is upscale but not snobbish. I would not recommend as suitable for young children. Superior for date night, client dinners, etc.

I really like Legal, but I don't think it is quite a 5 Star restaurant.

We were traveling from Albany to Boston and decided to take lunch here. It was a good choice. When we arrived around 1PM it was very busy and we got adequate service, but by the time we had digested the menu (the menus are slightly different in each Legal) most of the customers had gone back to work and the service was excellent. As usual the food was also excellent.

Delicious as always. I had the crab cake & a skewer of scallops. They changed the salad with the crab cakes. I preferred the prior salad. Scallops were perfect. 5* but they only gave you 4 of them. I also had the drink of the day which was fantastic. A blueberry lemon vodka drink. Service was great.
