Volturno Framingham

Portions don't reflect the cost ($$$), and the flavor leaves you wanting more. The food "is" pretty good! If you're lucky, you'll get Adam as your server. Great guy. They do have buy one get one free on Monday's and Tuesdays!! That, makes this place a must visit!!

Filled with light and a modern vibe, this Volturno, unlike it's Worcester counterpart, seems to be mostly empty. The menu has a focus on fresh ingredients and limited options mean that every dish is a specialty. The pizza is delicious and unlike typical American pizza - the crust is a delicate delivery system for meats and cheeses, not just a bread with sauce and cheese on top. (No offense intended - I have eaten a lot of cheesy pizza!) The wine and beer list are decent, cocktails are an average $12 - which is a bit high, but the bartender has a good pour. Don't miss the arancini appetizer - it is worth stopping in for those alone.

I will start by saying as a hospitality professional, I rarely write reviews but on rare occasions such as this one, I am left with no choice. Our exceptional meal this evening checked all the boxes from friendly professional service, to an immaculately clean dining room, to the absolutely killer food. Our server was Briana who did a stellar job, and was there whenever we needed her but never present without need or purpose. We shared 2 pizzas with crust so perfect it further complemented the beautifully balanced and perfectly conceptualized toppings. The spaghetti cacio e pepe was exceptionally flavorful with the perfect heat from the fresh cracked pepper that even seasoned cooks often are too timid to season correctly. Try this place, it won’t disappoint, I’m going back tomorrow.

Magnificent food with delicious creativity. Neapolitan to the max yet not loosing the friendly family feel. I start with the Arancini or Burrata. Cannot go by the Risotto, very fresh. They treat the Black Sea Bass well cooked just right still retaining the flavor. Although you cannot go without ordering the Pizza Volturno, or build your own. All in all worth the trip. I like Framingham, Worcester is good too. The quality, quantity are well worth the price. Never disappointed. Busy; reservation is a good idea. Come early for parking.

Hidden Gem. Came here while are car was being serviced down the road. Glad we came here. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Highly recommended!!!
