My boyfriend wanted to try a new restaurant in the area so he picked Lao’ De Cafe. Honestly I wasn’t impressed by the look and atmosphere of the cafe when we walked into the door but I decided to give it a try. We ordered a lot of things from the menu since the price was pretty reasonable. And everything was so damn delicious! The portion and the presentation of each dish were perfect. And everything was freshly and perfectly cooked. I was really in awe. I’m from Thailand and I’m really good at cooking so I’m very picky when it comes to Asian cuisine! But I definitely gave this place two thumbs up! We even reordered everything to take home for our dinner the next day. I totally understand those who gave them some bad reviews about the service. But hey, they made everything from scratch so it might take a little longer for food to be served but it was totally worth the wait. And the hostess was super nice and friendly. We will definitely come back for more!

If you’re looking for legit Lao food, this should definitely be on your list to try. I ordered the Khao Piak Sen, which is a Lao style chicken and noodle soup with plenty of scallions, cilantro, and fried garlic. It was a great soup for a rainy day. My friend ordered the beef laap, medium, and it is a true medium spice in my eyes. If you’re new to spicy food, I would go with a mild and you can always add more spice.

Service was extremely friendly and attentive! For parking, you may need to drive around to find street parking but in Lowell, it’s free after 6PM.
