The Family Delicatessen

This is my third time ordering from here and our office has ordered several times. I can happily report that this is the finest deli in our area. Sandwiches and food is incredibly fresh and delicious. There soups and salads are fantastic. Highly recommended. Try the family italian!!

I'm used to Delis in Boston, Gave this place a chance since we needed more food options, and they are extremely nice, willing to show you stuff and not rush your order, the bread they get is fantastic and it is all at a reasonable price! There are some vegetarian options on the menu too which is great for me since I choose not to eat meat. There is takeout egg salad and Tortellini salad etc, pickles and more. I'm sure as they grow that there will be an increase in what's sold, but this is an amazing startup!

Just had a meatball sandwich that was delicious. Fresh bread, great tasting sauce and meatballs were the best that I’ve had in a sandwich that I didn’t make myself. Will definitely go back.

My husband and I came here today to grab lunch after a long morning of moving. It was seriously delicious, the sandwiches were definitely beyond our expectation! I am really stoked to have a nice delicatessen here in Maynard. We needed it.

It's all about the bread!
My first visit was great. They are still in start-up mode, so their specialty grocery options are limited but they tell me it will grow with time. As for their sandwiches, I ordered an Italian and asked if they can use a baguette (afterall, an Italian sandwich needs to have a quality crusty bread to hold up to the the oil and vinegar!) They were more than accommodating. The sandwich, it was perfect. It had plenty of meat and all the right kinds, too.

I will be back and looking forward to watching them develop their store.
