The Vault

Unable to reach the Vault by phone before going to a show at the Chevalier theater 10/14/23 we decided to take a walk to find out what was going on. They were opened but having phone trouble. We were seated promptly at 5:45 and had a delightful waitress and the best service. We had chicken Marsala and Wiener schnitzel. Both meals were fabulous with a nice presentation. Before we left we got an informative and guided tour of the Vault private dining room- great story indeed! The walk to the theatre is very short and we were in line to get in by 7:15. The restaurant was packed with theatre goers but the waitstaff was quick and attentive and told us to enjoy the show! From start to finish it was a great experience and we were glad we gave it a try on such a lovely night. Hope they get their phone lines fixed but for us it was a hidden gem!

The atmosphere was warm in color and temperature, making it ideal for those who live to feel cozy. Food was tasty with interesting French fries that were freshly cut. Emily, or waitress with pleasant and appreciate in demeanor, so 25% tip was earned. I found it interesting that they offered gluten free Chicken Parmesan, so I pointed this option out to my son's fiance.

Note that Salvatore's had been renamed Vault.

Had an OK dinner here. Service was very slow, but I think that was more because a flood of people arrived for a show at the local theater. Food was ok (pulled pork), but a bland in places (onion rings and signature pasta).

Found out Carroll’s was closed on so I chose to eat at Salvatores for dinner and it was amazing. I love the freshness of food, various choice and reasonable price considering the location. My server was really passionate and had great recommendation of dishes.
My only complaint was that the Cocktail was a bit too bland… can’t taste any alcohol almost…
Will definitely come again to try other dishes out.. yay

Last stop on vacation is an overnight stay in Medford. Having satisfied my seafood urge, I opted to go with an Italian meal. Salvatore's was within walking distance of the hotel, so I stopped in. Five star service along with a five star entree of linguine and meatballs and impeccable bread made for a great experience! A shame I don't live in Medford, or I'd be there every day!
