THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I come to the Newton Center often, over many years. I have gone to college in the area, along with knowing many people that work in the area. Now that many I years have passed on from my college days, I was recommended to this place by a waitress I know, and I would say it was the one of the best reccomendations, I had for this area. I was instantly greeted by, Nick, one of the bartenders. I always like to just see what the staff would recommend for drinks and food, instead of just going off the menu. Nick not only knowledge about the menu, but was also recommend me my drinks and what I should try for eats. He took me on a "journey" which, I still use as a reference to this day. Every drink was made to perfection along with being accompanied by great conversation. Sean was also very attentive and affirmed great food to try and even went out of his way to change one of the channels on the television for me (on a Friday night) to something more to my taste. The chef, Tess, greeted me and made my food to perfection, which I even took home for more additional food, to enjoy later. From my experiences, even though it m has not not of been open for that long, it gives off the vibe that it has been a staple of the community, from even before I was around, from greeting you as soon as you walk in, knowledgeable/talented staff, attentiveness, delicious food/drinks, and great/friendly conservation. I would recommend this place to my best friend, as well as to my parents. I would say if you are new to the area, or even just a local, trying to figure out where to end their night, definitely make this place one of your stops. Food and drinks are great and the staff here make it even more of an experience. Have a great time. Enjoy a good night cap. Go here

Only open 6 weeks and a really awesome place.OMG sweet and sour cauliflower is to die for! Also had the salmon which was crazy good. Lobster roll was amazing and very fresh. Definitely coming back!

We really enjoyed our experience at Baramor. Considering they have only been operating for 5 weeks, they did a completely fabulous job. Our server, Nick, clearly enjoyed all of the menu items and could descrbe them very well. I ordered the handmade gnocchi with pesto and it clearly was hand turned and lightly grilled to give it extra texture. The pesto was enhanced with lemon zest, tomato and feta, and topped with croutons. The whole dish was balanced and just delicious. My date enjoyed the home-style meatloaf accompanied by a bacon wrap, and a side of buttermilk mashed potatoes so creamy that he didn't miss the gravy. The onions in the dish were the perfect crunch. A pleasant surprise was the side salad which contained crisp peas, radishes and red onion. An overall satisfying meal that was not pretentious or over-priced. Highly recommended.

A wonderful new find. I'm a sports nut, so to find a place to watch the Boston sports teams and enjoy fantastic food is an unexpected treat. And, add a wonderfully friendly and efficient staff...what more can I say. Try it.

I was drawn into this new restaurant because of the menu - Man! I’m glad I came. The food was delicious and Remy was friendly. I would’ve taken a photo of the food but it was so good I ate it and forgot.
