Central Newton

Nice atmosphere with tasty offerings. But service is slow. They could use another person for the morning shift.

When Peet's in Newton Centre closed, the restaurant across the street, Central, took the opportunity to fill the void. Previously only open for dinner, Central opened up its beautiful space for coffee, baked goods, and light lunch option during the day - Central Cafe. It's a step up from your average coffee shop. It's beautiful, spacious, and it feels like a real treat to spend some daylight hours in there. Great idea, Central!

Great food, drinks, and service! Food was amazing!!! One of the best dining experiences, the manager took extra care of us and very helpful. I definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to come back soon!

Great food. I had breakfast and the vegetables and sauce on it was really great. Great homey ambience and wonderful staff. They are welcoming and actually come at your table and take care of you. It is not like leaving you with what you are doing and also not giving you hard time when you want to spend some time there. I found this place a great place for reading and working. I liked their music too. A very relaxing jazz like saxophone, instead of loud pop music. I suggest this place to everyone and I certainly go back there with family and friends.
