Tokyo Japanese Steak House

Been wanting to come here for a while, so it was great having my company dinner here. Got here early so I made my way to the bar with a few other co-workers. There is large projector showing the sox game and enough space to move around and have a conversation in a group.

The bartender was friendly, and did a good job of making our drinks. One of our team members ordered a Frozen Pina Colada with Hennessy and although I 'm more of a whiskey guy, this was good. They have a fairly nice selection of spirits and I was very happy to see that they had my favorite Japanese Whiskey. I do need to mention though that there is no beers on draft here if you are looking for that. They do carry all the traditional selection of Chinese Mixed cocktails you would find at a Chinese restaurant (Mai Tia, Zombies, Scorpion Bowls etc.) and from how they poured our drinks, they are very generous. The one thing I would suggest is that they may want to shampoo the carpets. There must be a lot of traffic in the bar area because the carpets look on the dirty side and walking on it was very sticky.

The dinner was a lot of fun. We had Allen as our chef and he had a great attitude and did a great job on putting on a show. I ordered the Sirloin steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The service was good, where the waitress checked on us frequently. One of our guests has allergies to soy and dairy but that was not a problem, as they could cook their meal in the back of the kitchen and timed it to be served at the same time as the rest of us.

With regards to pricing, it was not that bad. There was ten of us and we all had at least 2 drinks (some a few more) 9 appetizers were ordered and we all got an entrée, and it totaled out to be $85 per person with tip included (20% tip)

Daily 4pm-6pm is the right time, because many foods can enjoy the preferential price, Edamame only costs $2.5. Great! Will come back.
