Dave's Fresh Pasta

Checked out of the hospital early this week, and hobbled down to Dave's Fresh to grab something for lunch before it got too hot. When I arrived I discovered that it was before business hours, but the Dave's staff were super-gracious and served me. I will not forget the kindness of the staff at this Davis icon.

Awesome pasta, and awesome sandwiches. Can't go wrong with anything you can get here. Really need more local food stores like this. Fresh, fairly priced and delicious. Can't ask for much. Also the people who work here are wicked friendly and will make suggestions on stuff if you're overwhelmed by their insane pasta list. It's a little overwhelming but just means more stuff to try!

Photo is of one of their sandwiches - lamb one. They have a large selection to pick from and they're made fresh when you order. Very fast too, less than ten minutes to get one.

I love this place. There's so much in there. Everytime I go in, I see something I didn't notice before. The sandwiches are also good. All around, good quality local grocery store.

I love Dave's! It is the best neighborhood specialty store. I've been a customer from the beginning. Best sandwiches, lasagna and to go meals.

Great little market area featuring produce, deli, cheeses, homemade sauces, and of course fresh pasta. It also has some amazing sandwiches (hot or cold), coffee, and even a large wine section.

Friendly staff, fantastic ingredients, and the perfect place to stop on the way home after work. Would recommend to everyone.
