Didn’t take a photo until halfway into my sandwich (the big cheese), because it was delicious! Cute little sides of pasta and potato salad were great too, food came out fast and prices are decent!
Finally got to come in and order Hot Tomatoes!
The ambiance was a comfortable, modern vibe for take out or dine in. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable.
My husband and I ordered to go, the Hot Tomatoes Pie with hot cherry peppers and pepperoni along with the chick a dee salad.
The pizza was perfectly crisp and thin, with solid flavors and balance. The pizza size is a decent size and has 8 slices. Coming from NJ and NY it’s difficult to find a pizza of that caliber locally and we’re so happy we finally have a spot for that well made pie. The salad was also flavorful and paired well with the pizza.
We’ll definitely be back!

What a lovely new addition to Union Square! Your neighborhood sandwich and pizza shop serving up elevated bites. It is a cute spot with plenty of seating, well lit, and chalkboards advertising the menu. Everything sounded appetizing, but I decided on a hot sandwich. I went with the gobbler and added American cheese. The bread was buttery and toasted nicely. The sandwich was jam-packed with stuffing, turkey, and the cranberry mayo meshed nicely, bringing all of the flavors together. This sandwich was so savory and filling that I was only able to eat half. I was able to eat the other half the next day, and it was still tasty left over. I got a side of elbow pasta salad, which was also really yummy! I have my eye on the pizza for my next visit
Stopped by to grab some food before a softball game and the Cuban and Bow St sandwiches we got were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Great setup with big screen TVs so we could catch the football games while we waited. The wait staff were really nice. Would definitely recommend!
Welcome Hot Tomatoes to Union Square neighborhood! I took the opportunity to come here for lunch. Modern, plenty of seating. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Menu at launch currently focuses on pizza, soups, salads, sandwiches, and pasta. I heard initial feedback on sandwiches still I tried the Chicken Parm sub. It comes with a choice of 3 sides to choose from. Tasty rich tomato sauce (topped with grated cheese) and substantial thick portions of chicken. Accompanying chosen pasta salad was well executed too. Prices are within the area's range. Good start! Looking forward to trying more items over time
