Kongdog Somerville

Not bad. Definitely a bit more filling than I expected. Thought we could have a quick snack before dinner - but it turns out to be a hugest appetizer. I like the location and the big open area. They seems to be a bit understaffed. There were not many customers when we arrive, but still took a while for our corn dog to be ready. Next time I will try the order in advance option.

I've never had a Korean corn dog, so when we found this place on Google we decided to give it a try.
It was delicious. Mozzarella cheese is the way to go!
The only downfall to this location would be the bathroom was exceptionally dirty. When my friend mentioned it to the employees, they kind of dismissed her. The wait is a little slow but due to the amount of employees that is expected. 4 out of 5 just because of the bathroom.

I had wanted to try this place since they opened a couple months ago. The dogs? Overall pretty good. The beef option is definitely well, beef. The cheese option is literally so melted and string-cheese like, it was hysterical to eat (in the most entertaining way). My stomach only permits me to eat two corn dogs even tho i wanted to try all of them. I had the potato dog and the sweet and chili dog (#2 and #9) my friend also got the hot cheetos dog (#7) that I had a bite of. the two unique dogs (#9) were definitely good, however it’s only fun for the first half of the dog and then you’re fighting to finish the rest because the flavor was too overpowering and mushy. The potato dog (with the cheese in the middle) was my favorite and is absolutely delicious. I would kill for this dog. It was sooooo good. The atmosphere of the dining area was a bit too stimulating for me, the music was incredibly loud had that I couldn’t hear my friends speak. Ending on a positive note, the pink strawberry lemonade was DELICIOUS too. Definitely a must. For 4 corn dogs and a small lemonade I paid $37. I’m not too crazy about the price, but I will be going back (only for the potato dog).

I was looking to try their corn dog and wasn't disappointed with the result. Try the original with beef sausage and the potato with half beef/mozz; the sausage tasted very good. It took more time than I thought to get my order, but I will definitely return.

Unique food concept and was pretty tasty! Tried the classic, sweet potato, and Sweet Chili Doritos- sweet chili was the best of the 3 and would not recommend the sweet potato as it was just very filling and large! The pricing is reasonable and the place is quite lively and popular. Ordering system was a little tough and service was slightly slow but the restaurant is still new so completely understandable. Would definitely recommend giving it a try for a fun and unique lunch or snack!
