(July 22, 2019, 4:00 am)Good food but I ordered the cod and thought it was kind of boring. Not enough flavor this time. I should have ordered the lobster it was always Good! For the price it was okay. Wish it was better like it was 15 years ago. I did like our waitress, she was kind and very helpful.

(June 6, 2019, 11:05 am)As far as chain restaurants go, Legal is definitely near the top and Legal on the Mystic lives up to the standard. Beautifully designed space, open kitchen, good service. The seafood is fresh and they have a great selection. I was shopping at Assembly with my mom and she wanted fried clams. Not so easy for a person with a wheat allergy. No problem at Legal. When we turned away the rolls when we first sat down, the server returned with warm gluten-free rolls. A little pricey ($31 clams) but not out of line with other large seafood restaurants.
