MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company

Coming here on a Saturday evening with a group of six colleagues, I had a great time the moment I stepped through the door! The food was well-prepared to each person's tastes, the quality of the ingredients was definitely there, and the open oven atmosphere created a wonderful ambiance. I also wanted to highlight the quality service of our evening's waitress, Jenae. She was polite, friendly, and quick in distributing our large number of orders. If you appreciate of a solid Italian dinner, you'll enjoy the convenience and selection at MidiCi!

We came during a slower hour (5pm) but the service was really great. I went with a typical favorite comfort food of mine, their Buffalo chicken calzone. It honestly blew me away, and this is a little of an apples to oranges comparison but I've had this meal from dozens of restaurants and this was my favorite yet. As a side note it was $13 for a single person serving, and very filling. The vibe is very unique but we found it comfortable, kind of a trendy and clean space, but friendly and with great, pretty reasonably priced food.

Our Hawaiian pizza was pretty good, though it tasted nothing like Hawaiian pizza usually does. A lunch menu I saw indicates they have a NY-style option, but that seemed to be unavailable when we went at dinnertime. Patio looked nice, but the mugginess drove us indoors.

This is the second time I’ve eaten pizza from MidiCi. the first time I ate in the restaurant and the margarita pizza was great. This time I ordered a takeout garden vegetable pizza. When I got back to my office about seven minutes after pick up the pizza was not even warm. And the crust was under cooked, making the center of the pizza soggy. Fire-cooked pizza should have crispy crust from edge inward to center. This was not that. Ingredients are fresh, as always, and the taste is excellent. It was just a texture and temperature issue this time.
