We had prosciutto. The crust was amazing. I always forget that I don’t like prosciutto. It shows up on the table and the smell reminds me of how much I hate it. But I could say their pizza was made very carefully. They might want to go easy on prosciutto. Outside area on the square has an absolutely clam atmosphere. Few blocks south are lots of cramped bars on weekend nights, but this one is very peaceful. And it’s just off the Somerville theatre. If you’re coming out of the theatre after 11pm there aren’t many options around. For us a beer and a pizza did it.
Came here a couple times with friends to grab a slice of pizza. They have a pretty good food selection and the atmosphere is pretty chill (albeit it can be a little crowded). My only actual complaint is that whenever I've come, the pizza options have been a little limited. I don't drink, but my friend got the the pumpkin spice martini and absolutely loved it, so there's a recommendation!
My first time in Mike's. Interesting place. Modified table service. They bring a menu but you go to the counter and order. They do bring your food. Your drinks are in paper but your food is served on China with real utensils. Located in busy Davis Square. Open windows make for great people watching. We had nachos and veggie pizza. Both were excellent. Way too much food for 2 people. Little pricey but the quality and quality were excellent. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I think at their prices they should provide table service. Check this out. I think you will enjoy it.
I couldn't decide how to rate this place. The menu is ridiculous - there is so much going on, that I'm not sure how the kitchen manages everything. I have only been here for pizza, as most people do, and it is good. Not great, but they cater to people who have been drinking and need a hot slice of pizza. I always loved it after a trip to The Burren, but I tried it after I had not been out for the night and it was actually still really good. It is an institution in Davis Square, and worth a visit.
