First time visiting this cafe and had a short but nice experience here! Ordered a capp and overnight oats and everything was delish! Also bought a bag of their coffee! The staff was super friendly and recommended me the best option for the coffee! 🙂
Fabulous coffee. Delicious baked goods. Nice people. Definitely recommend the bagelicious, cardamom muffin, and rose latte/any of their specialty coffees. Other location is also great. Have only had 1 thing I didn't like- Thai Peanut Salad (not much flavor).
You are required to order online, which I didn’t realize until I had already walked all the way over. They make you order via the website and for my one breakfast sandwich on a Saturday around 11:30am the wait was 20 minutes. So I left to go get a coffee to kill time and came back.
I ordered the Jimmy pesto, which was on a homemade English muffin with pesto, pickled red onion, feta, and spinach. The egg is a square egg “cake” (not a single fried egg) but it was fluffy if not especially flavorful. Overall the red onions were the key to this sandwich which was a bit rich (the muffin was very greasy which you can see in the photo). For $7 all in I think it’s fine but probably won’t order again.
To go only, a few picnic tables in the parklet and a few more two seaters next to the restaurant, but no heaters or protection from the wind.
I have no clue what the heck they do to their bagels to make them so delicious but I hope they never stop. We got an everything bagel and plain, both were so soft, crunchy and flavorful. 10/10. Each of us got a latte, one hot and one iced-it was a dream. Didn’t love the $1 up charge for oat milk but was worth it. Their out door set up felt like I was in the middle of Brooklyn, definitely fun and relaxing. Highly recommend.
Great walk-up-and-go coffee setup, wide selection of coffee drink (with rotating unique specials like the Cardamom Rose Latte 🔥), rich pastries with a good portion being vegan, and breakfast and lunch sandwiches to pair perfectly with your drink. The Crispy Eggplant sandwich was awesome, and definitely worth a trip here alone
2nd visit: the kimchi quinoa bowl is delicious and hearty, but could use a dressing of some kind, it’s a bit dry on its own, but still worth getting. The toasted coconut mocha was incredible, and the granola bar was the perfect mix of soft but still crunchy, really well done
