This is such a delightful place to come for a drink, a meal, and a date night. The Eaves is a terrific setting for an intimate 2 or 3 person evening. The entrance is a bit tough to find in Bow Market - though after entering, it's to hide the high quality atmosphere that's inside.

We got drinks after being seated and we're impressed by the flavor of drinks indicative of a cosmopolitan feel.

The food was most impressive. The spice level was very high and was balanced with the wonderful flavours provided. The vegetarian salad was a good starter, followed by ceviche and finally, the duck. That duck is still something I am thinking about - tender, juicy, and with just enough spice that makes me want more.

Our service complemented a wonderful evening. The staff were always attentive to our needs, happy to answer questions, and ensure we had a great time. Though it's a bit pricey, The Eaves deserves 5 stars, a bigger place, and another visit from us and others. Thank you for such a great time and hope to come again soon!

I have to say, this place pleasantly surprised me! I’ve gone to sister restaurant Cicada, and was unimpressed by portions and overall taste profile for most of the dishes. The papaya salad, fish tartare, and Key West main dish at The Eaves were generously seasoned, creative and tastefully presented—much better than the experience I had at Cicada (though that was a while ago and it could be different now!) Clams were just okay. The Whisper of the Heart cocktail was impressively balanced!

If you’re planning a date night stop now and make a reservation.

Cozy quarters with meticulous artistic expression. You’re going to be transported mostly importantly by the food and cocktails.

The whisper of the heart was phenomenal but I’m a fan of egg whites. Our table of four tried something different for each person - all thumbs up.

We took our fantastic server’s advice and tried everything (thank you Jennie!). For 3 entrees I had a hard time handing out a bronze. The Mekong delta edged out as #1 but it’s a tenuous supremacy.

Checked out The Eaves, nestled inside Bow Market. Being a new spot, we were eager to see what it was all about. The place has a cozy vibe with limited seating, which definitely adds a unique touch and a bit of personality to the dining experience. It's a Vietnamese fusion joint that serves up small tapas-style dishes.

We sampled a variety of items from the menu. While everything was presented beautifully and the service was top-notch, the flavors didn't quite hit the mark for us. It felt like the dishes were toned down a bit, possibly to cater more to American palates, resulting in a somewhat muted taste profile. Overall, loved the atmosphere and the concept, but the food left us wanting a bit more punch.

Great restaurant and I’ll be coming back. Resembles a speakeasy while still representing that it’s a Vietnamese restaurant. We nearly missed the restaurant since we couldn’t find the entrance, but it’ll just be where they have the red rope closing off the entrance and a menu.

Ambiance is top tier. It’s where the kitchen is half the restaurant, but it’s really warm and cozy especially with the decor. There’s only seating for maybe 20 people at any given time.

We had nearly everything. I recommend the duck gyozas, the nghệ (fish noodle soup with a light sour broth), clams, and tartar though that’s literally everything I had. My favorite dishes by far were the tartar (spicy and minty) and the duck gyozas. The portion sizes were on the smaller sizes compared to regular restaurants, so you should treat each dish a tasting experience.

Drinks were great. I had whisper of the heart and a sake. Being at the bar is just so fun - you’re immersed in the decorations and the bartender (also owner) is a pleasure to talk to!
