Bobby & Jack's Memphis Barbeque

Great food. Everything was excellent. The only thing I would say negative was the overall price. 4 adults, 1 child, full meals was just over $100. We all had leftovers but still a little on the pricey side for BBQ.

I wouldn’t recommend eating here in the summer. I had dinner here the other night and the place was boiling hot. Not only was it uncomfortable for myself in shorts and a tank top but the waitstaff was all sweating in their long sleeve shirts and jeans. They looked, and were, all miserable. You can’t blame them, only management. It’s unfortunate as their food was delicious but to watch the staff wipe sweat from their forehead so it doesn’t drip in the food and drinks takes away from that. A simple uniform change could do wonders for the place. I’m sure in Memphis you would never find waitstaff bundled up in the summer. Make it a little more authentic and let them wear short sleeves. Or at least turn up the ac.

It's rare to find great bbq in this area. I can't speak to the service exactly because I've only done take-out, but everyone has been friendly. I'd probably just do take-out as well if you don't like country-western music radio (not my reason, I'll eat-in some day) but this place is worth checking out. There are a number of tables for large parties and a fairly sizable bar with numerous big-screen TVs. The prices seem moderate, or at least reasonable for the size of the entrees. I'm a repeat customer, anyway.

Food was good. Drinks cold. My biggest complaint was twofold. They charge$1:00 for cheese on chili. For the ten or so pieces please hold the cheese and put money back in your pocket. Not worth the money. Second was the service very slow we're had a pay of eight with 3 kids. Not rocket science for the menu. The waitress only made a few trips to table. Well I be back think so, but won't be getting cheese on the chili...

Took my grandson today! I had the Jack Attack and fries. It's Pulled pork, Pulled chicken, bacon, cheese with lettuce and tomato!! I put their "sweet & spicy" sauce on it!! Plus a bowl of chili with cornbread. Grandson had 1/2 rack of baby backs with Mac and cheese and dirty rice!! Everything was absolutely amazing!! We'll definitely go back!! Awesome!!!
