Bonchon - Waltham

Very nice place. Order the Tteokbokki, really unique dish that I don’t see much. The wings of course are also great. I prefer this to the Harvard square location. They also have beer and wine, which goes great with the spicy food.

I tried the fired chicken Soy ginger and spicy flavored wings. The soy ginger was salty but tolerable. The spicy was okay, but maybe very spicy for someone who is not used to spicy food. JUST BE AWARE that if you show up to the restaurant to get a takeout they will charge you firs before telling you that you need to wait 25 freaking minutes for a small box of wings. This to me sounds like a scam and it's not polite at all. Next time please tell how long it will take for my order before charging money.

Not sure why the ratings are so low here - I actually love the Korean style fried chicken here, and they got my food for pickup in ~5 min. Nothing to complain!

But remember this is a fried chicken place, so not expect too much for other part of it.

The Fried Chicken wings are excellent. We also ordered Chicken Buldak (the spiciest dish on the menu) and it was amazing. If you are not a fan of spicy food, you can always ask for the less spicy version of it.
