Vinotta

My boyfriend and I decided to go for the first time to Vinotta. The place is nice. It is super clean inside the restaurant. The restaurant by itself is not big, that is why I highly recommend making reservations before you go there, especially during the weekend. Food tasted great! We ordered as antipasti a Grilled Octopus. For the main course we ordered Pappardelle, Porcini and Truffle, and Lobster Ravioli. There is no compliance with the food. Everything was cooked well and tasted amazing. The only problem we had was our waiter. It took him 25 minutes to take our check. He was just wandering around but did not pay attention to our table. My boyfriend and I had a great impression overall until this situation. Our waiter was not busy, he was standing by the wall and just did not care about us. Hopefully, if we decide to go there one more time, it will never happen again.

Loved the eggplant roll appetizer, arugula salad and carbonara. Great, friendly service- we went after 8pm, and the food was well-paced. it was very relaxing. I probably wouldn’t go if you are in a rush.

My wife and I were in the mood for some authentic Italian last night, and this gem of a restaurant turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise. We haven't had chance to explore much during the pandemic, and in the before times, I'm sure we'd be visiting this place at least several times a month. The carpaccio was flavored perfectly, the octopus grilled to an excellent texture, and I've never seen truffle pieces so abundant in a mushroom risotto. We will be back for sure for more well-packaged takeout in the future, and look forward to a sit-down meal once this is all over.

Best kept secret on Moody Street! Signature cocktails, delicious food, wonderful ambience, comfortable seating, and friendly and accommodating staff. Dante, the owner knows what he’s doing! Everything about this new restaurant on Moody Street is excellent. We managed to get their last table without a reservation but it won’t be long before it’s packed with regulars. Reasonable prices for dishes with good quality meats, fresh seafood, pasta, and gourmet appetizers. I had a fig martini and pasta with mushrooms and shaved black truffles. Outstanding. Don’t forget to try a cannoli for dessert. Can’t wait to go back!
