Flavor Boom!

Jim brought his Flavor Boom to our home. We have discussed his concept a few months back and it is amazing to see this comes to fruition. He wanted his food to be delicious, authentic, unpretentious and all about the flavor. The dishes certainly spoke about that. What caught me by surprise is that the unassuming food that came out of the boxes (btw, definitely go back to paper ;)) and microwave was instantly transformed to a gourmet tapas dinner served 7 adults and 5 kids. Each of the dishes was true to the origin but with a touch of fun and boom of love. Every bite was flavor infused with slow cooking and attention. Everyone was impressed including the picky kids. I was particularly taken by the repertoire and authenticity of the 8 dishes that he served. I can certainly envision these dishes serve with steamed buns or flour tortillas to transform an ordinary takeout to an amazing experience. Well done Jim and Harry.

I've ordered from Flavor Boom numerous times already. There's an incredible range of flavors dispersed across their menu, but one particular standout in my mind is the Supernova Crab & Scallop Curry. Spice-wise, it's not for the faint of heart, but if you can take the heat, it's a truly delectable dish, featuring my platonic ideal of scallops - smooth, savory and soft. Can't recommend them highly enough.

The food here was really good! I ordered the Boomin' Beef Rendang and the Supernova Crab & Scallop Curry (the top two bowls in my picture). The beef rendang dish was nice and juicy beef that was braised and infused with rich sweet rendang flavor. I've had rendang dishes at other restaurants, and this takes the cake. The crab and scallop curry was also surprisingly delicious - a unique take on curry that added some nice seafood to the mix. The portions are deceptively small, but with plentiful protein on top of plentiful rice I was bloated before I knew it. I'd come here again to explore the rest of the menu!

Ordered the Rocket Pork and Tiramisu. The pork was delicious, tasted very authentic and "un-americanized". Really good balance of sweet and savory, and great portion! The tiramisu was tasty as well, not too sweet, and perfect way to end the meal. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu! Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwiches! Would definitely recommend.

On behalf of the Bradford Mill community in West Concord, MA I would like to thank Flavor Bloom, new catering company and its principals - the proprietor Jim the chef Harrison for the original and delicious food, excellent service and for their clearly visible passion for their craft that made our lunch so enjoyable. We had 50+ people at our first post-Covid gathering and everyone was so happy about the variety of food, its deliciousness and creative presentation.
I highly recommend Flavor Bloom to everyone!
