1. She has one location in Winchester and recently branched out with her second opening in Woburn. The interior is very pleasant. I had the Gyro Plate ($18) with roasted Greek potatoes. It's come with a small cabbage salad that was pleasant. It was plenty of gyro meat (lamb and beef), and the potatoes were perfect. Lemony and slightly crisped up. The service and staff were very pleasant.
2. Lamb Shank ($22). "Baked lamb in tomato sauce". With Roasted Potatoes and extra sauce, of course. It was a really good-sized shank that were fall off the bone tender. The sauce was really tasty. No picture of the excellent greek salad that was included. Good dressing, and it was all spinach leaves.
Overall it was a great experience.went with a friend and Sat at the bar. Place is nice ..very bright -maybe a little too much so. The service was great. Started off with the whipped feta which was delicious! Also had the falafel which was good. The lemon chicken rice soup was excellent and a big portion. Had the pastitsio for main course ..very tasty..this came with a Greek salad and a side of potatoes..tons of food! My friend got a lamb gyro plate which they said was ok , but the lamb was a bit dry. The drinks were good -I tried a couple of a Greek beers and my friend had The Woburn Martini which was like an espresso chocolate combination. Will definitely be back!
What a nice place with great service and pleasing atmosphere. We tried the spinach pie, grilled octopus, mixed grill and moussaka. Everything was excellent. The octopus 🐙 was very soft and nicely presented with spinach and beets. The spinach pie had the perfect mix of crispy dough and savory spinach and feta filling. The moussaka melts in your mouth with a variety of flavors and the mixed grill had a chicken and a Greek meatball, lamb skewer and Greek sausage. Crispy french fries and cabbage salad were the perfect addition. We took quite a bit of that home and will enjoy tomorrow. Service was very pleasant and we loved the white tablecloth and cloth napkins. We will be back for sure.
Soooo good!!! 🏆🥇!!! My wife and I live in Wilmington, last Sunday we where looking for a good place for dinner. We found Eleni’s on google, looked at the menu and decided to order reservations.
When we drove by, we didn’t see many people in the restaurant, my wife thought we should turn around- I said “perhaps it’s a new restaurant, let’s give them a chance”.
Our plan was to get a few starters, and if we like them, we will order a main course.
OH BOY!!! Every plate and every bite was amazing!
We ordered the beet salad, the rolled grape leaves (warm and stuffed with meet), both where large portion and delicious!
The bartender didn’t get our drinks perfectly (my wife wanted a mock-tail and I ordered an old fashioned), so the owner/ chef came and helped.
We enjoyed every minute- and decided to order a main course: the Lamb Shank!
WOW!!! Probably one of the best/ largest/ perfectly cooked lamb shank dish I’ve had in a restaurant! 💯💯💯
Thank you Eleni for opening such a great/ cozy/ homey Greek restaurant. Can’t wait to visit again and probably order some take away too 🙌❤️
Loved a nice sit-down meal at this brand new restaurant. However, Elani is no stranger to Restaurants. She has operated one in Winchester with more of a takeout theme. The place is all new and relaxing. Loved the mousaka today. She did a great job. The bar is also a nice place to have a drink and catch a game. I will be back soon! Please try this place and leave a review.
