I have been seeking Thai food since NYC in the late 1970s, when there were very few restaurants outside of California. One of my close friends was Thai and he showed me the way. I have become a huge fan of Max's Thai Diner for about ten years. The ingredients are carefully sourced and lots of special things are created in-house. There are many great dishes. Pad Thai, Green Curry, Crazy Noodle, Chicken Noodle Curry, Ba Mi Gra Pow.....etc. But, the most epic is CHICKEN CABBAGE!!!!! Be sure to add some red table sauce and get a Thai Ice Tea. :) I have to found better Thai food in Boston the Boston area, and I have looked.

Delicious food! Good customer service. Small place but nice place. Pick up food is usually ready in about 10 or 15 minutes.

This is a find. The outside of this "diner" belies the quality of the food, which is outstanding. Large portions, too, at easily affordable prices. Also a great place for vegans and dieters. There is parking nearby. And its quiet! You can actually have a conversation. My personal faves is the salmon chop chee.

This restaurant is an interesting concept, as it offers Thai cuisine in a traditional American diner. The owner bought the place about 15 years ago, so it's well-established in the community. They have a very large menu--probably the biggest of any local Thai restaurant I've been to.

I found the food flavorful and fresh and the service was very prompt.

They have a traditional diner bar that seats about 15 people and around eight tables for two people each.

Parking is limited to the street and can be tough to find. They do a lot of takeout business--while I was there, more people came for takeout then to dine in.

There is a minimum per person meal charge of you sit, but it isn't hard to meet it with an entree and drink. You won't be able to meet it by only eating one appetizer, for example.

Reservations are only available for parties of three or more.

Wonderful. I’m picky with Thai food and this place is surprisingly fantastic. Definitely worth a try!
Pad Thai is sweet rather than spicy, there’s not really any spice to it, and I REALLY enjoyed it!! The bacon fried rice is also so good, although I did chop up the bacon pieces when we got it home, they’re kinda big. We also tried the fresh Thai wraps and the house sauce is very flavorful! We’ll be going back!
