Great authentic Chengdu hot pot with fresh ingredients, wonderful service, and a hip ambience. The dipping sauce and special house spice powder is absolutely amazing! A must try for anyone in the Boston area - make this your next go-to spot to meet friends.

Authentic skewer hot pot, great taste, welcoming service, clean & nice deco. Food are well prepared and worth to mention they use individual sesame oil for the sauce, which is surprisingly and happily to first to see in Boston. Will definitely visit again!

Was so excited to have the first skewer hot pot in Boston. I was never really a huge fan of hot pot as no matter what the food is, after cooking in hot pot and dipping in the sauce, they all taste pretty much the same. And the main difference between the skewer hot pot and a regular one is that all food on the skewer are marinated in their Six Po signature recipe and they all taste awesome and authentic! The cilantro beef and pickled pepper beef are must try as you don't really have the similar ones at other restaurants. Some other dishes and desert came as a surprise as well, the Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cask and the Crispy Pork are my favorite except for the main hot pot food. We managed to avoid the long line on a Saturday night since we had a party of 8 and made a reservation in advance, I heard that they don't take reservations for party less than 6 now, so it's probably wise to just stop by early and get your name on the list first so that you'll have the table on time.

I would like to give a five star because the soup base is so good and the concept is so unique in Boston area. We went there during the soft opening period and the skewers with hot pot experience brought me back to Chengdu China. The taste is exactly the same with the brand used to be in China. And the owner are willing to listen to our suggestions and we got free dishes for that. I will come visit later and hope they will be fully open by then.

Quite a cool concept of paying by-the-stick for nearly every ingredient to be dipped. Food is excellent, allegedly authentic as well. Tripe was on point as well as the range of beef.

The biggest downside (likely due to going on their opening night) was scheduling and service. We asked for a table at 5 PM for two and were told it would be a 2.5 hour wait at most. Instead, it took over 3.5 hours. However, the hostess stood firm against overly demanding parties and didn’t let anyone jump the line. However, this will likely improve drastically as they get more practice.

The price runs standard for any hot pot establishment.

Could easily become a five-star rating if they get their service down.
