The Friendly Toast

As always starting with the staff. They were very good. Friendly and attentive.
The food.
Started with the churro bites. Way over cooked or the oil needs changing. Inside flavor was ok. But sparse on the chocolate. I had the Irish Benny. The eggs where perfect. Other than that the dish fell flat. Hash had no flavor and English muffin was a bit tough so during the cut with the butter knife provided I knocked everything off it. The side potatoes where tasteless and overcooked (mushy). The other half had the avocado toast. Presentation looked delicious and she said it was ok nothing crazy. The kids had the basic eggs and pan pancakes. Again. Nothing special. So all in all average. So a 3 it is.

Amazing food (breakfast & brunch options both served all day long!), incredible drinks, eclectic decor. Friendly Toast will become a staple brunch spot for us. Also, we only waited 5 min for a seat and it was super packed!

We had to wait about 20 minutes before we got seated but it was worth it! The place has a diner retro feel to it. I got the appetizer sampler for my entree and I also ordered the sampler for their coffee mixed drinks. They were both amazing I really thought this food and service was great all around!

Couldn’t have been happier with our experience! The breakfast egg rolls were huge and could have been an entree by themselves. Our cold brews were very strong and very tasty. The huevos rancheros were excellent and the additional pulled pork was a must. The King cakes (banana chocolate chip pancakes with bacon and peanut butter sauce on top) were the star, as the pancakes were fluffy and definitely a step above your generic diner pancakes. Only complaint was the food was so good and portions were so big we couldn’t try more; a must repeat.

The Friendly Toast never fails to disappoint. Their new location in Legacy Place was top-notch on all regards. Lots of new food options, same eclectic vibe. All their food has a unique zest - from the bread to the bagels to the bacon, everything tastes amazing! It's only going to get busier here - if you're gonna indulge, now is the time!

Also want to give a huge shoutout to our waiter Henry! It was his first time, and handled everything like a superstar. We had an amazing time with Henry, and everything came out smoothly and deliciously (that's a word now!)
