“Not a place to sit and dine. Great customer service! Big portions! Big juicy tender pieces of oxtail with a thick gravy seasoned to perfection! Nice sweet & spicy wings. Jerk chicken and ribs were tender. Jerk mac n cheese was good. Homemade bread pudding was the winner! Wow. Can’t find it this tasty anywhere. “The only good thing I can say is our waitress was very nice, but that is the extent of the compliments. The food wasn't anything great at all. I got a cheeseburger and it was just a cheeseburger. It was pretty pricey too for food that wasn't impressive. They also have their own soda. It's called soda city. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever drank. I ordered a sprite and thought the girl brought me club soda at first. When I asked for another one because I thought it was a mistake she stated that a lot of people don't like their soda. What restaurant doesn't sell Pepsi or coke? I like soda with my meal and I was so disgusted I actually went to My car and got a bottle of water. I would never go back.”

“I'm still trying out some of the sauces. So far my favorite is the Island Spice dry rub. They'll literally put it on anything, so try it on french fries if you're feeling adventurous (not feeling adventurous enough to put any of the sauces on my mozzarella sticks though). I ordered the Honey Mustard wings, and they ended up being plain wings with a honey mustard sauce for dipping. A week later, ordered the sweet and sour wings expecting plain wings with a Ken's sweet and sour sauce, but nope, those were drizzled with homemade stuff. Prices aren't inexpensive, but they aren't too bad. I'd like if they had some more meaty chicken options with the sauce (most of the places around are doing away with their Fried Chicken Dinners). The pizza is fine. Nothing to really write home about. The last time I went it was pretty greasy actually (if that's a good or bad thing is up to you, but it tasted better than before to me).”

“Visited this place with Pop, my Father-In-Law and there was a couple inside but no one else outside of us. This was after 11 am. By the time we placed our order there was a steady flow of patrons coming in. The style is a throwback to another time and I really liked that. The staff was friendly and the service was quick in a way where you had time for a good conversation before eating. I'd go here again.”

“Ate there for the first time today with my family, and we all loved it. We ate a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with hash browns and a blueberry pancake. Of note, the blueberries are so juicy that one popped when cut and I ended up with some blueberry face. Lastly, the biscuits and gravy was had by another, and enjoyed as well. Clean restaurant, and very friendly staff. I would recommend this place to anyone.”

“Food was pretty good, so were the drinks. Service was fast and friendly! We ordered small order of wings (1.5 lb, bone in) but the bartender ordered us the large order (nbd). We also got the firecracker brussel sprouts and the smoky avocado BLT, both were really good. Overall it was a good experience. We will most definitely be back!”

“Place was clean and modern and the food was amazing. I got the #2 breakfast combo that came with French toast, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 4 slices of toast, and home fries for only 9.99. My cousin got the #1 breakfast combo which she also enjoyed. The only thing is it is extra money if you want to get turkey bacon or turkey sausage instead. Waitress was nice as well.”

“Holbrook house never disappoints my family and I. I was a regular before the change of ownership, and nothing has changed. If anything, before the change of ownership I felt myself waiting longer than the time given. Now after the change of ownership there have been some slight menu modifications, but that’s to be expected, and their take out time is always spot on. The food is still awesome, and so is the customer service. This was, and still is the best take out place in Holbrook, hands down.”

“Sara’s Pizza Place is one of my favorite restaurants. Their food is outstanding and their portions are large. All of the food I have ordered over the many years I have eaten at their restaurant has been superior. The Steak Tip Dinner Plate is the best steak tips I have ever eaten, perfectly cooked, juicy, with a sweet and tangy marinade. The Calzones are fabulous, my favorite is the steak and cheese it is like a steak and cheese sub wrapped in savory pastry. Their French Fries have a great crispy coating and are fluffy on the inside. The Onion Rings are as good as the French fries, crispy and light but not greasy. The Honey Barbecue Wings are sweet, meaty, but still crispy. However I would say that my favorite dish is the Large Cheese Pizza. The crust is light but not too crispy, the sauce is just perfect, and the cheese is delicious and there is a massive amount of it. It is simple but absolutely perfect! The owner John and his employee are also the nicest people. They are friendly and always remember their customers and pay special attention to them. It is a pleasure to see such nice people and eat such delicious food!”
