Food is excellent, service is excellent, and even at peak times, there never seems to be a wait. Can accommodate large parties (8, maybe more). Also, baby-friendly, so that's cool.
Very accommodating to my group who dined way past closing time! Loved the ambiance, the staff was great! Good food too. Definately going back!
Normally, I would give this place 5 stars, but we had an awful experience on Mother's Day. First, there was an accident on the highway but we called ahead and warned that we would be between 5 and 10 minutes late. We were 8 minutes late. They gave away our table. Then we were asked to wait for another table to clear. There were several empty tables but we waited. They sat us, the staff person was very friendly and took our order at 3:45. Our food did not come until 5:20!!!! There were 3 of us in our party. People were being sat and fed and we were still waiting. People who came in after us were fed before we even saw our food. The waitress came to our table at 4:45 and apologized for the mix up and said our food was on the way out. It took another 35 minutes to get our food. When it came, the food wasn't seasoned, the shrimp scampi tasted like straight lemon juice, the lobster Mac and cheese had old freezer burned lobster. The French fries from the chicken fingers tasted like they were cooked in fish grease. What a TERRIBLE dinner. I understand the Mother's Day rush and complete busyness of the day, but the food should still be qualitative. They knew they were wrong so they offered us free dessert. Usually I love this restaurant, but this time around, it was a disappointment. Even the abbreviated menu options were not great. As far as ambiance, it is a comfortable, family friendly environment. The dimming of the lights make it a little hard to see the menu for those who have older, "seasoned" eyes. The regular menu has great options. I'd still recommend this restaurant, just not so much during a busy abbreviated menu day.
Steve & his staff went over & beyond to make our Mother’s Day brunch a fantastic experience. A family member had made reservations at another local restaurant for Brunch. When we arrived we were told they didn’t have our reservation & were oversold .
I called Fox & Hound in a panic as family was minutes from arriving at the overbooked restaurant. I explained our chaotic dilemma to Steve, the owner. Steve told us to head on over & he would make sure we had a table. Steve & his staff did just that . We had a table for seven of us . The various assortment of food was plentiful . It was excellent ! Mimosas & Bloody Marys were great too ! I cannot say enough about this place . Thank you all for making our Mother’s Day a memorable one . You will be seeing a lot more of our family. A Special Thanks to Steve for his kindness & compassion!
