“Great selection of beer and a variety of food items to order. We went with the bar snacks: meatballs, buffalo cauliflower and roasted brussel sprouts. The cauliflower was great being lightly breaded and fried, tasty with texture, but not so much breading and sauce as is common in other places. The sprouts were also outstanding: well roasted and covered with an interesting sauce. The meatballs were just a little lacking. They were tasty but just missing some sort of texture on the outside of the ball.”

“I was on the road today and needed to pick something up for lunch. A coworker suggested Benchwarmer. I called in my usual ham & cheese with mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and hot peppers, toasted. Very quick, my order was ready when I arrived. I love shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes....however, they forgot the hots. Not a big deal, just a preference, my sandwich was great. I'd go back again.”

“I'm from out of town, and this was recommend by a local. I was not disappointed. It is takeout only, but there are a few benches nearby you can sit and munch at, which is what I did. They have brick oven pizzas, burgers, and some sammies. I ordered the fig and prosciutto personal sized pizza, with spinach and ricotta, and a slightly sweet glaze. It was fantastic. And the staff was super helpful and friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely come back.”

“This is by far one of the BEST restaurants on the S. Shore. Their food is nothing short of AMAZING....all of us really love everything we get here. One said the steak tips were the best he has ever had. I love their Chicken Marsala (with extra mushrooms). They take some reservations, so call early or arrive by 5:45P. The wait after that can be long. You can also eat at the bar, which has a nice vibe. They have outdoor eating during the summer, too. I think we will try that the next time! My bf liked their prime rib ...only complaint was that it could have been hotter. I think that could be a problem with the prime rib. How do they keep it hot without cooking it more? Give this place a try and you will be a regular.”

“Had a great first time experience here tonight. Was seated quickly upon entering. The establishment seemed very clean and well operated. Service was great, usually I have to wait for drink refills at most restaurants, here, the staff was on top of that. “Mumma Mary's is a great local restaurant. All the food is freshly made, very delicious, generous portions. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. I tried to think of my favorite dish, however I couldn't decide between the chicken parm, the lasagna and the simple spaghetti and meatballs, they're all too delicious just to pick one. Follow that up with a delightful selection of desserts and you've got one heck of a spot.”
