75 Chestnut

I really like 75 chestnut and have been a handful of times. Cons: The portions tend to be small for the price point (except things like the burger) and the cocktails are just okay. Pros: the food quality is consistently high and a great place for brunch or dinner!

Cozy spot tucked away from Charles Street in Beacon Hill. Their outdoor dining is enjoyable on a quiet street, and the indoor is a pleasant combination of steakhouse-style wood paneling and sports bar-esque prominent TVs always showing the local Boston sports game.

Unfortunately the prices do not quite match the relatively laid back vibe - ~$14 simple cocktails, $20+ pizza, $30+ "main" portions... just make sure you're aware of the pricing before you arrive, and don't leave surprised that your cozy evening turned out to be heavy on the wallet.

I loved this place. I was there for Wine Wednesday and they had an amazing deal for 2 courses with 2 glasses of wine. The schnitzel was delicious and the service was so warm, friendly, and charming.

The foods were great, the service was splendid. There were not many customers around the time my friend and I dined at, hence we got to enjoy the conversations and the vibe. Very pleasant dining experience generally. Will definitely come back for another visit soon.

Our first experience here. Fabulous. Mediterranean Platter for an appetizer was fantastic with an interesting array of items that complimented each other so well. Clam chowder amazing. For main meals I had the Pan-Seared Cod (outstanding) and my husband had a “special” of Summer Squash Ravioli with Prosciutto. Yum. Mo was our bartender/server and in addition to the great food, he would be our reason to return. Ambiance lovely and comfortable. Noise level perfectly fine whereby you could easily carry on a conversation. We were there 5p-6:30p. Can’t say enough good things. Looking forward to visiting again.
